Chamomile
Chamomile is one of the oldest, mostly widely used and well documented medicinal plants in the world. Chamomile has been used for centuries for numerous health complaints.
Chamomile is a member of the Asteraceae family (daisy). There are two different varieties of chamomile, German and Roman. German is considered to be the more potent of the two and is widely used for its medicinal benefits. Chamomile contains many active ingredients. One of the best known is Apigenin, which is known to be an antioxidant.*
