Myrrh

Myrrh has been used since ancient times for medicinal benefits and as a perfume, incense and for sacred purposes. It is sourced from the gum of the Commiphora myrrha tree that is native to the Arabian Peninsula and Africa. It contains a number of compounds, including Limonene. Limonene is an antioxidant.

Myrrh’s health benefits and uses are documented throughout history in medical texts and most often is used in combination with Frankincense. The two are reported to have a very strong synergic relationship.
