Lion's Mane
This strange looking mushroom resembles its name sake with its fruiting white body that looks like a Lion’s Mane. It also is known by other names including Pom Pom, Hedgehog, Bearded Tooth and Japanese Yamabushitake.
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, Lion’s Mane was used as a tonic to support overall health and anti-aging.* Buddhist monks were said to have used it to enhance brain power and heighten their focus for meditation practices.*
